Facts about the HOLY SPIRIT.

He is ETERNAL just like God the Father and Jesus Christ

(Hebrews 9:14)

He is PRESENT everywhere or OMNIPRESENT just like God the Father and Jesus Christ (Psalm 139:7)

He is TRUTH just like God the Father and Jesus Christ (John 16:13)

He was present at the creation of the earth (Genesis 1:2)

He was present at the conception of Jesus Christ (Luke 1:35)

He was present at the circumcision of John the Baptist (Luke 1:67)

He was present at the baptism of Jesus Christ (Matthew 3:16)

He was present during the life of Jesus Christ (Acts 10:38)

He has been sent by Jesus Christ from God (John 16:7: 14:16-17:15:26; Luke 24:49)

He justifies believers (Romans 4:24-25)

He gives comfort to believers (John 14:16-18: Luke 12:12)

He is present in the life of every believer (Romans 8:11)

He convicts EVERY PERSON of sin drawing them to Jesus Christ for repentance which leads to life. (John 16:8-9)

Since the Holy Spirit is available to all who believe in Jesus CHRIST, is there any reason I do not want Him operative in my life today?

Reflect for a moment on this part of the course. Many churches tell you the Holy Spirit no longer works on the earth in the hearts of man. Others tell you that unless you speak in tongues you can't be saved. Some tell you the giftings of the Holy Spirit are evil and of the devil. However, the truth is this: Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to live inside man. His role is to convict, teach, lead, comfort and nurture the individual. The HOLY SPIRIT is the source of God's living power that endwells the heart of man. Don't be confused. Don't be afraid of the unseen but powerful Holy Spirit. Simply cry out in faith: 'Holy Spirit Come upon me and live in me. I receive you with open arms.'
