May 1 of 2008 marked the 57th annual National Day of Prayer. Events took place across the nation to unite individuals in prayer for America. This year's theme was "Prayer! America's Strength and Shield."



Prayer is the cornerstone of our faith. Prayer is talking with the Lord God Almighty. Prayer is the key that opens the gates of heaven to allow the greater impartation of the HOLY SPIRIT upon your life. Prayer changes things by first changing you. It is not about praying for your favorite things.
