Ken Freeman
Born in April of 1947, in Kilgore, Texas, to Thurman Henry Freeman and Dorothy Lucille Windle Freeman.
I had an older sister, Sandra Sue Freeman Piper who married at age 20 and spend the next few years in Germany while
they were in the Army. Attended Kilgore High School, Kilgore Jr. College, Stephen F. Austin State University.
I married Ann Kindel in 1968. We had our firstborn son, Michael Brandon Freeman in Dallas, Texas. We live in Dallas
during the 1970s - present.
Our two daughters were born in 1971 and 1980. Kerry Ann who is married to Richard Pruitt resides in Garland, TX and our youngest
daughter, Kayla Ann, lives in Dallas, TX.
Ken was saved from a youthful life of rebellion, sex and drugs.
He played in a rock n' roll band during high school and college. Upon receiving Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at age 24, his life began to change dramatically.
His hunger for God's Word led him to studies at Dallas Theological Seminary and then tracts I and II of the
Biblical Counseling Foundation in California. Along his spiritual journey, he helped plant Calvary Chapel of Dallas in 1984.
He wrote a recovery healing model called Healing the Hurts of Abortion in 1988 and led regional training seminars through 1995.
The estabslishment of recovery support spread and numbers of other models were written. In 1993, Free Me to Live was written.
In 1997, after losing a domain name to another source, the construction of individual web sites began. The family of 25 web sites and 5 blogs
that
make up the programs of Last Harvest Ministries, Inc. served more than 3 million people during 2003 - 2007 in 155 nations.
This Church without Walls was birthed as an idea in 2003. By 2005 the fellowship was birthed and the site completed with
the new look and feel. Just recently, the site was hacked forcing us to rebuild the site you see now. We will gradually add
in the archives, but thankfully the archives are currently stored on a blog.
Our grandson, Isaiah, is today 7 years old. Following a major traumatic event in his life and many issues that led to his
being raised by his Grand dad and Nanna, Isaiah was adopted May 29, 2007! We are pleased to be starting over with such
a wonderful gift as Isaiah.
We welcome you to Last Harvest Fellowship. Tell your friends. All are welcome.
