WHO IS LAST HARVEST FELLOWSHIP?

Last Harvest Fellowship is an international gathering of believers for the sole purpose of growing in the grace and knowledge of our common Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Not as an outreach of a man, building, denomination, religion or creed. Instead, as a living, organic body of believers and seekers using the technology of the Internet and cloud computing to serve the great commission of the Bible: To go into all the world telling the good news of Jesus Christ: The GOSPEL.

WHO IS PASTOR KEN?

Ken Freeman is the founding director and president of a nonprofit 501-c-3 organization called Last Harvest Ministries, Inc. His personal background in teaching Bible started in the 1970's with studies at both Dallas Theological Seminary and Biblical Counseling Foundation's multi-track studies. He served as worship leader for Calvary Chapel of Dallas from 1980 until 1984 when the ministry began. He was ordained through Grand Beacon Church in Dallas, TX following a two-year probationary period of serving together with the pastor on a weekly radio outreach on KVTT.FM.

The ministry began in 1984 as an outreach ministry of Calvary Chapel of Dallas Tx as a local radio show in Plano, TX with a 2000 sq. foot pregnancy resource center equipped with an ultrasound machine, a doctor and a nurse strategically located next door to an abortion clinic. During the years 1985-1987, 1300 babies were saved from the clinic next door. West 57th TV show attacked our center in 1986 calling us a FAKE BOGUS CLINIC on national TV. Thus, we lost our space and support from over 17 churches. It was a miracle that PTL called us to appear on the Jan. 22, 1987 show. On that show, 18,000 women requested our tape: "Overcoming Abortion's Aftermath." That appearance was the catalyst event that caused the writing of Healing the Hurts of Abortion and the birthing of after abortion recovery support groups. In 1989, Last Harvest began to train pregnancy center volunteers and staff how to help the abortion victim. During the years 1984-1990, the radio show expanded to eighty markets with the help of Marlin Maddox (USA Radio Network) and Bob Larson (IBN) and Bob Davis (announcer). After training 2,500 volunteers and contributing to the establishment of the after abortion movement nationally, the ministry moved its outreach to the internet in 1994. Since then, the ministry outreach has spanned 35 active websites, nearly two dozen social media outlets reaching three-million individuals annually in 125 nations.

The ministry FACEBOOK account has attracted and sustained over 200 pastors from around the world that fellowship with Pastor Ken weekly. A weekly webcast called Monday Minute is provided to today's active pregnancy center director and his/her staff. As of 2005, so many people were asking for prayer, advice on the Bible, recovery questions and more, that Last Harvest Fellowship was birthed to share with friends around the world a weekly Bible study outline. The church has grown over these last four years to where it is today.

You and about sixty-three thousand others at this time. Men and women even children who come to this website each week to grow in their understanding of Jesus Christ. We grow as people like you, tell others. Our prayer is for this organic body to begin to outreach through local home cells around the country. In other words, as I teach you, you in turn share with others where you live. The net result: like Jeremiah, we will rebuild the broken walls of this nation, not by building a church building with 4 walls that you must physically come to. Instead, to build the church upon the real building, the body of Christ right where you are.
